Moti Daman Fort:

At a distance of 2.5km from Daman Bus Stand. It is one of the
most famous monuments in Daman. The construction of this Moti-Daman fort was
done by Portuguese in 16th century to guard against Mughals who
ruled the area until the Portuguese arrived. Even though, it was built in 16th
century till today, it standing in the same position. as it needs to be
restoration but then also, it attracts thousand of tourist in every weekend. This
fort is also famous for The Chapel of our Lady Rosario, the Church of Bom
Jesus, and Inside this fort it has Secretary Office, Municipality Office,
School, Hospital and Portuguese street or colony. It has a best view across
river Daman-Ganga to Nani-Daman Jetty and fort through it.

Nani Daman fort:

At a distance of 1 km from Daman Bus Stand. It is also one of the most famous monuments in Daman. The construction of this Nani-Daman fort was done by Portuguese in 16th century to guard against Mughals who ruled the area until the Portuguese arrived. Also, popular as the St. Jerome fort, it is small fort with massive walls made up of stone. It is situated on bank of river Daman Ganga; the fort shows the culture of Christian religion. it also served as a school, Cemetery inside it. Near, to this fort the other attraction is jetty where it acts as barrier from tides, waves and also served as docked for small Boats. Jain Temple, is famous for its architecture which shows 18th century murals that portray the life of Lord Mahavira, and Dubai market, where you can go for shopping of Imported toys, chocolates, clothes and many more items.

It is a place built to acts as a barrier from tides, waves and also served as docked for boats. This place is to relish yourself. You can visit this place and have a picturesque view from this place. You will find the boat is docked/parked at this place. You can visit this place and freshen up your mind by just inhaling the fresh breath and good sound of waves which gives the fresh energy to mind. On jetty, there is one temple known as Samudra Narayan Temple that draws a pilgrim and It is situated at a great location.

Queen’s necklace:

As you all know queen’s necklace means what? Right! So, like
Mumbai marine drive. The Daman city also has Queen’s necklace which is recently
build in 2019. It is same like marine drive. It also called as mini-marine
drive. It is 2.5 km long promenade along the lighthouse road Moti-Daman in city
of Daman, India. The promenade is lined up with Palm trees. you can spend by
seeing the sunset with a perfect vivid hues of orange sky in evening. In
morning, lots of people visit this place for walking and jogging purpose. It is
place where you can find calm, peace, tranquil, and reinvigorate yourself. The
best time to visit this place is in rainy season, where you will find the tides
that are so high and weather is so pleasant. You will get a panoramic view of
Arabian sea through this mini-marine drive. If you are planning of trip to
Daman then, this place you must visit and without exploring this place you
will not get joy because this is most famous place to visit in Daman.
